MATCH REPORT: NORWICH CITY 2-1 EVERTON

Norwich City pulled themselves to within a point of a safety as they held on for a vital 2-1 victory over fellow strugglers Everton.
In a two-minute spell in the first half, Michael Keane put through his own net before Adam Idah bagged his first ever Premier League goal to send the Canaries 2-0 ahead and ensure Richarlison’s 60th minute acrobatic second-half was merely a consolation.
It is only the second win for Dean Smith since he took charge in November, and it ends a torrid run of form for his side who had lost their last six without scoring.
It was a raucous Carrow Road that watched their team fight their hardest to secure the three points and hoist themselves up into 18th position, a point behind Watford in 17th but with two more games played.
Contrastingly, the Toffees find themselves dragged right into the relegation fight with yet another damaging loss that leaves them with just one win in their last 13 in the league.
The weight of pressure upon the shoulders of Rafael Benitez must seem almost unbearable with furious travelling fans directing the majority of their anger at both the Spaniard and the Everton board as they watched their side slump to yet another limp defeat.
